My Dear Friend

I lost a friend today and I can't even think straight

now I'm left feeling like this on the inside

He was more than just a friend to me, more like a brother

his sister was my sister, my mother his mother

It's so funny how life can pass us by at the blink of an eye

but it's all in God's plan

He knows what he is doing and will bring better days

It's crazy because I actually thought I would get a chance to visit him when I visit home from school.I guess I planned too late.

That sneaky monster took him from right beneath our noses.

But all hope isn't gone,

we will meet again...someday
